Yesterday was a lazy day.

I am happy I took advantage of it. I felt so unmotivated to do anything. In the morning, I did put the donkey and goat out on the line so I could clean their water tub, picked some weeds for them, gave everyone else, chicken, dog, kittens, fresh water and redid some flower pots, but that was about it. After lunch, I was going to head to our local garden shop to buy my mother some new flowers as one her flower pots had mold in it and killed the flowers, so I brought her flower pot home to dump the old dirt, clean the pot and put new dirt in it. I started driving on our road, and decided that I really did not want to go there, not in the 92 degree heat and just feeling unmotivated to do so. I turned the car around, and when I got back into the house, I found the kittens on the bed in the extra bedroom and decided, what a great idea, take an afternoon nap, and I did, for about an hour. Did it help my motivation? No, but it felt good to rest. And then, instead of going to my computer to continue one of my online courses, I turned on the tv and vegged out on Midsomer Murders. I am very grateful for the “day” off, I know not all have that luxury. Not sure what today holds, taking it one moment at a time. And that is all we really have is it? One moment, then the next. One breath, then the next. Ooh, that brought a deep breath from me. Maybe that will be my focus today, to honor my breath and see where that takes me. In what ways can you honor yourself today? Blessings.
