I was stressing. Overthinking. A couple of weeks ago, a dear friend of mine, who owns her own business asked me to be a speaker on an online summit she is putting on, Sanctuary Within; Finding Calm in the Chaos, at the end of March. She knows I love “tapping” (EFT), and how it has made a difference in my life and also that I like to share how to use this easy tool to relieve stress and help bring more joy, ease and peace into my life. I have a 30 minute slot, not a problem, I can talk about EFT and how it has helped me in big and little situations. The problem came when she said I would be also be required to come up with 2 free gifts. The Summit is free while it is going on, but as in most summits, if you want to listen to the talks again at a later date, you pay for the program and each speaker gives two free gifts for a different tier price. Summits are a good way of learning about different programs others offer, and bringing in new clients. I don’t have a business, I just like sharing this tool of tapping to as many people as possible. The first free tapping session I already have in the bag so to say. I had come up with a “Tapping through the Chakras” a few years back, so I just need to get it on my YouTube channel and it’ll be ready. It’s the 2nd one I was stressing about. A couple of years ago I had done a 31 day Love my Body series, picking a different part of the body to focus on and being in gratitude for it. I thought I had also done tapping scripts to go along with it, but alas, I did not. Yesterday I went through my little program to try and come up with scripts, and it just wasn’t flowing. I was going to get right back on it this morning after journaling online with my friend Marcia. She usually comes up with the prompts for our journaling time, and this morning’s hit home. I don’t have to make a big program. I am not trying to attract clients, I am just wanting to share this tool. I have decided to make it very simple. Just recently, I made some hearts with positive affirmations to send to the GreatMotherMarch. My online art teacher, Whitney Freya asked her art students to make hearts for those that are participating in the march to pass out during the march, like the Peace Monks March were handing out bracelets during their march. I made 60 and sent them, and then I made a set for myself to keep. I have decided to pick 14 affirmations from the hearts to tap on. “Tapping with the Heart”. I love it. It’s easy, simple and flows for me. A lesson learned.
