Sometimes a truth hits you smack in the face. Why do we expect so much from ourselves? I pretty much have a “nothing” day today, except to pick up Cayden. I get to choose what I want to do and when I want to do it. I have big plans to work outside, pruning and probably throwing out flower seeds because if the report is true that the hummingbirds are coming, we are not getting another big freeze. It has been a mild winter, so I also have on tap to do fire ant patrol, and slip some art time in there. Lazy day? Not so much, but its my choice and I may just say, “nevermind”, and curl up with a good book. We all need “nothing” days. It’s a way to reset our nervous system. Even if you cannot have a “nothing” day today, can you find a few “nothing” moments, where you can enjoy nature outside, take some deep breaths? Even if it is from your office window. Blessings.
